Welcoming Spencer

Can you believe it has been 4 months since our little boy joined us? Yeah, neither can we. I thought I would show some other pictures from the day of Spencer's birth.

Spencer didn't like to open his eyes much that first day. He looks very contemplative here.

Grandma went with him when he got his first good bath. And then we took some fun pictures of our sweet little guy.

We were trying to get pictures of him without the flash because he would flinch when the flash went off, but then we had a hard time getting the camera to focus. This one is one that looks okay and shows how squinty he was in the beginning!

Lydia took this picture of us with Spencer. Turned out pretty well!

Lydia was thrilled to be finally meeting Spencer. Claire was so worn out that she fell asleep on the way to the hosptial. When she got to meet him, she was more hesitant, but she loved him too. :)
I love how she is looking at me. She was so excited!

Jeff was tired too because of our early morning, but he isn't sleeping here.




Spencer was fortunate enough to meet his Grandma and Grandpa M the day of his birth. This was the first time my dad got to see one of his grandchildren on their actual birthday.
