1. Magnets--You know how your telephone book comes with cheap magnets stuck on them so you'll put them on the fridge and when you have a problem they can solve you'll look and go, "Oh, I should call them." Well, for the heck of it, we took them off of the phone book and put them on the fridge. Lydia now likes to take them off of the fridge and walk around with them. She'll shove them into cups that she finds, and hand them to you, shove them under the door into the bathroom while you are in there and she is not allowed in, or try to put them back on the fridge (with some of them that is difficult because she has bent them up so much).
2. Dancing--If any music comes on she gets excited. Sometimes she'll start spinning and show off her skills. It is cute. Lately she has also been doing this thing where she will stomp her foot to the beat. She just likes to move to the music. If we are in the car, it is usually her head that will nod to the beat. We (at least mommy) is hoping that this will lead to a good music background for her! :)
3. Talking on the phone (when no one is there)--she likes to walk around with Daddy's old cell phone, or Mommy's cell phone and pretend to talk. Sometimes she'll actually use the toy phone that we bought her, but it seems like real ones are better to her. She'll just start her talking and then keep going. Sometimes she just walks around and holds it. We laugh at her.
4. Crayons--This is a new thing, but the other day I pulled out some crayons to color with Lydia. She did a marvelous job (and Mommy and Daddy helped too!). However now she likes to just carry them around. She'll hold them, and lay them out, sometimes she'll pull her pictures off of the fridge and add a line to them. Then she'll keep walking around with them. It is amusing. Here are some pictures of her playing with her crayons.

Hey cuties . . . Happy Thanksgiving! We're about to start our festivities, as soon as Josh, Stephanie, Natalie, Jerry, Cheryl, Angela, Jon, Logan, Melissa and Cheryl's mother show up.
We loved the cute stories and pictures . . . keep up the blogging!
Oh you took me back to when Raquel was that age. They are so precious. Wish we lived by you guys!
So, you all might be interested to know that Lydia has used her crayons to draw on our walls. When we first saw it, I almost wanted to laugh! However, she has done it several times, so it isn't quite as funny. Now she doesn't really get the crayons unless she is right next to one of us! She'll learn soon enough! :)
