Ryan's Visit

On November 5th, my brother, Ryan, returned home from his mission to Barcelona, Spain! Welcome home Ryan!!

The following week, Ryan and my mom came to Arizona for a visit. It was Claire's first time to meet Uncle Ryan, and Lydia didn't remember meeting him (she was 3 1/2 months old when he left). The day Ryan came, we made a sign to welcome him to Arizona. It was a homecoming of sorts, as when we were kids Arizona was always a place that was our home when we didn't have a home (as in, we were in the process of moving).

Here is Lydia making her sign for Uncle Ryan. Hopefully my mom will put of pictures from the airport on her blog, she got the ones of us welcoming him!

We had a lot of fun with my mom and Ryan. Claire, who has become the ultimate momma's girl, even let my mom hold her. We had several moments where Claire crawled up to my mom thinking it was me. Then when she saw me sitting across the room, had to double check who was holding her, and then protest to be handed over to me! Lydia LOVED the additional attention from Gra and Ry. She was constantly asking my mom for "Tacs" (which are Tic Tacs), and then made sure that everyone had one of their own. I wish we would have taken more pictures, but we were so busy!! It was so much fun!

Ryan with Claire. She let him hold her some of the time too!

Trying to share her Tac with Ryan.
We miss you guys and can't wait to see you at Christmas!
