Sick Days

Shortly after returning from Washington, Lydia got sick. I was worried, as it was lasting longer than I thought it should. I was preparing to take her to the doctor to see what was up when she woke up feeling fine. However, the day Lydia woke up feeling fine, Claire got sick. Somehow or another, I did not get it that bad. We spent the whole week in the house, and although that doesn't sound like fun, it was actually really nice. After a whirwind December, a long trip, it was nice to spend time at home, and actually get some things done as both girls took naps some days.
Anyhow, here is what we were up to.

Lydia's preschool class made 2010 glasses, and since Lydia was sick, her teacher brought hers by.

Lydia put together the puzzle she got for Christmas from Jeff and Kimia. Thanks guys!!

Lydia decided she needed to learn to use the camera and took this picture. Not too bad! (She took a bunch more, but they were all pretty random!)

The only problem with our sick days, were that when we were finally feeling better, we got the storm of the season. (Well, it was our storm of the season. It didn't amount to anything like the East Coast, but it was still pretty crazy for us!) It rained cats and dogs for at least 3 days, and due to our hard, dry soil floods were all over the place. That meant we were stuck inside for longer than I would have liked. Oh well, getting better and getting some moisture were well worth it!! :)
